I enjoyed working with Scott, and you will, too. He challenged me to design and develop outside of my comfort zone with great results. He's got new and useful ideas at every turn. Bonus: Scott's non-fake positive attitude is contagious. You should make him an offer soon.

Scott's multiple talents and skills have been enumerated in prior posts and I wholeheartedly concur with them. His positive passionate attitude is contagious and his unique perspective fuels his creativity. I can honestly say that in my several decades of work in the corporate world, I have not met anyone as instinctively creative as Scott. He would be a great asset to any company or organization with the insight to hire him.

I've worked alongside Scott for the last 3 years and know firsthand he consistently makes his goals and deadlines producing thoughtful work that generates sales and revenue in a challenging atmosphere. Scott will be effective anywhere he chooses to contribute his creativity, skills and experience.

I’ve worked with Scott for the last 5 years at a company undergoing nearly continuous and often fundamental changes. While most people shrink from that type of challenge, Scott has embraced it. He has managed to strike that rare balance between operational efficiency and innovation. You can count on him to make a deadline without worrying that the routine will make him complacent. He simply relishes the chance to push himself outside of his comfort zone.

I've known Scott nearly my entire life. To keep it simple, this man's passion + drive are bar-none. Anyone who has met him would say the same thing. I recommend him w/o hesitation.

Scott and I met at a BBQ just after he moved to Girdwood, Alaska for the summer of 2011. I have been owning and operating an adventure tour company 'Alaska Backcountry Access' for 6+ years. We needed a guide for the summer and Scott was looking for adventure in the great outdoors. It was a perfect match. We taught him some hard skills of canyoneering, rafting, gold mining, etc. and he brought his friendly personality and positive attitude. The clients loved him, his people skills are over the top and he was always striving to master another thing. Unfortunately, becoming a master Alaskan guide takes years and we only had him for the summer.
However, his media (writing, photo, web...) skills continue to be an asset to us as he helps with the endless task of marketing an outdoor adventure company.
He does things for the right reasons, continually learns and plans with an eye to the future. Scott seems to be on an unwavering quest for an independent, fulfilling lifestyle many dream about but never act on. Best of luck Scott, if you ever decide to return to Alaska, you got a job. Anyone interested in hiring him, feel free to give me a call at 907-351-6935.

I am often amused by Scott’s endless pursuit of adventure. It’s always something different with this guy. But he always follows through, always! Scott’s a stand-up guy after all. And that’s why I would recommend him for a job.

I have 100% confidence that Scott can conquer any goal, outperform any competitor. He has a long list of skills, all infused with his cutting edge creative style. His positive nature and dedication make him an inspiring team member and leader. Scott is my go-to guy for advertising and marketing consultation for my business. He has helped with my company branding, logo design, website content, and on-site advertising. His results are always impressive. Scott constantly demonstrates his creativity with leisure projects such as local sports team T-shirt designs, amusing 'save the date' magnets, and other random realizations of his imagination. Hire and challenge Scott, benefit from his potential.

Although Scotty is my son I promise I'll be objective in my recommendation. He is the most creative person on the planet. He comes up with ideas that the normal brain wouldn't think of. His energy level is endless and he is committed to succeeding. Scotty has made me very proud in his dedication to his work, his dependability, his independance, how he treats others and who he is as a citizen. Whoever hires him, if he and the employer agree that it's the right job for him, will be very pleased ... I can promise you that he'll give you all that he has!

Scott cares about others. His devotion to those he surrounds himself with demonstrate his thoughtfulness and enthusiasm. His maturing passion for life drive him to endeavors that he cares deeply for. This perspective and it's manifestations are genuinely, but quietly inspirational.

As much as I'd like to complete this reference without using hyperbole or superlatives, it's just not possible. In his current role, Scott is a thoroughbred horse stuck on a half mile track. Scott wants nothing more than to pour his creativity and maximum effort into any given project.
Scott is the type of person who looks at ways to go THROUGH obstacles. With technology and the right resources, there are very few obstacles in the modern business world. Scott Wotring understands this concept.
A commonly overlooked trait is resourcefulness; it’s a difficult quality to display in an interview or on a résumé. The first step in resourcefulness is knowing the tools at hand. Scott has mastery of digital and human tools, he won't hesitate to use whichever is appropriate for the task at hand.
I could continue this recommendation by espousing about Scott's vibrant personality, or his keen and deductive intellect. Those are qualities he displays in abundance. Anyone reading these myriad testimonials can see as much. However, as brevity is the key to good communication; let me say simply: bring Scott in for an interview, and give him the opportunity to impress you. You won't regret it.

Over the years I have known Scott, he has revealed himself to be a passionate, creative thinker and someone who challenges himself, and those around him, daily. He is honest, confident, determined and daring. His outlook on life and enthusiasm are contagious. A sterling gentleman, and I wish there were more guys like him. But short of cloning, that isn't possible.

Scott's relentless pursuit of excellence, both personally and professionally never ceases to amaze me. He never gives less than 100% and maintains a positive outlook when faced with adversity and challenges. He has the ability to inspire others. He challenges his friends and coworkers to do their best, and we are better for it. Scott's passion runs deep, his thoughts run wild, and the results can be breathtaking. There is no doubt that Scott is going to do big things, make an impact, and leave his mark on the world.

Anyone who knows Scott can attest to the fact that he is someone who is truly passionate about every aspect of life. His unbridled creativity and vigor for living is truly contagious and a true delight for anyone who has the pleasure of calling him a friend. He always dedicates 110% of himself to both his professional career as well as his social networks. He will undoubtedly be a great addition to any environment!

Scott is a great guy and a great co-worker. I enjoyed working with him and he was very inspirational. He succeeded at everything thrown his way. His innovations went above and beyond expectations. I enjoyed brainstorming with him just to hear his ideas. I think he'll be a great asset to any company he works for, and it would be a mistake to miss the opportunity to bring him on board.

Scott is a one-man think tank. As a marketing professional, I regularly ask for Scott's insight concerning strategies and tactics for projects I'm working on. I find Scott to not only be creative, but more importantly, to be effective. Scott is already an asset to my marketing department, and he will be for yours as well.

Scott Wotring has illuminated my life since the very first day we met. We've lived together, laughed together, learned together and worked together. This young man is one-in-a-million; intelligent, hard-working, unique, fresh and above all... passionate. There is nary a situation that Scott will not greet with great energy and determination. irecommendscottforyourmostencyclopedicofjobs!

He's not just into marketing. Scott has a wide range of talents, plus the creativity to use them for worthwhile projects. I've known him as a college friend, but it's been great to follow his accomplishments from a few states away. Sometimes you get the feeling that someone you know will go far in life. Scott's that guy.

When Scott was 10 he wanted a new Starter jacket. We told him if he raised half the money he could have the jacket. The next day there was a snowstorm, and this little 10 year-old trudged up and down the street all day shoveling driveways and earned the money. Scott still has that kind of determination. He is a hard worker, easy to get along with, and a real people person. Of course, as his mom, I'm a little biased.

Scott would simply be the star asset to any team. This past year I put my faith in him to plan the trip of a lifetime throughout Europe. His research and dedication to explore far surpassed any expectation of the group. He led us through four amazingly different countries like a rockstar with his confidence, charm, and knowledge. You can count on Scott.

The most inspired and resourceful person I have ever met, Scott’s vigor for life is contagious. Truly an extraordinarily steadfast and trustworthy fellow.

Having worked with Scott the past 5 years at The News & Observer, I can say without reservation that his work ethics are second to none. He is a highly dependable and conscientious coworker and a vital cog in the Sales & Marketing team. His creativity and humor are certainly the sunlight in our office.

He's a generally awesome guy — always on the cutting edge of the newest trend. Scott is an accomplished man in the local marketing community, and has garnered much respect accordingly. Scott is always willing to go the extra mile and would be an excellent addition to any team.
Sep 14, 2010
Never one to blindly follow a crowd, Scott is truly an individual. This website should, in itself, demonstrate Scott's ability to take matters into his own hands to achieve his desired goals.
Sep 14, 2010
Incredibly creative and captivating, Scott needs a job where he can show off his skills. The man's got skills! Any marketing team would be lucky to have him.
Sep 14, 2010
In every interaction I have had with Scott, he has brought a truly unique and innovative perspective to the situation. What leaves a lasting impression however is his execution of creativity. There is many a creative genius I would never want to work with. Scott's organizational structure removes him from a sea of able bodies and positions him among the irreplaceable.
Sep 14, 2010
Scott has a true passion for creativity, not just some guy trying to be hip. Scott doesn't have to TRY, he simply IS. I would seriously hire Scott if I could...simply for his presence so I could harness some of his creative energy!
Sep 14, 2010
Plain and simple, Scott's a good dude! He's got a unique passion for creativity (clearly), a good head on his shoulders, and a strange attraction to weird music. Hire him, or I will!

Scott reports to me at The News & Observer. He is a wonderful co-worker. I love that Scott challenges the status quo and finds better, more efficient ways of doing things. Creativity abounds with Scott and I can always count on him to come up with a great tag-line for a sales campaign or put together a great looking sales piece. He never misses a deadline and I never have to follow-up with him on a project. He gets it done. I will hate to lose him!
